A: You need to have a National Water Hygiene Card to work on 'restricted operations' where you may come into contact with partially or fully treated drinking water. The water company or the principal contractor will ask to see you card before you work on their site. Any person working on restricted operations sites such as water treatment plants,service reservoirs, pumping stations, water main repairs must hold a current national water hygiene card.
Q: When can i do the training?
A: , CSSW can arrange a course within 8 hours of recieving an order. courses can be completed Monday to Friday 07:30 - 17:30 or Saturday 07:30 - 12:30
Special arrangments can be made if a Sunday course is required.
Courses can be booked up until 16:30 for next day delivery.
A: The card last for three years after which another course should be attended and the card renewed.
Q: How long before i get the card? A: The national water hygiene card is sent to you as soon as it is returned from EUSR* CSSW provide you with a cover note which allows you to continue to work over this period.

A: A health questionnaire is completed so no medical is required the questionnaire ensures you do not have any water bourne diseases at the time of the training.
Q: Do you carry out courses in my area?
A: Courses are delivered across the UK, or at our training centre in Exeter Devon.
Q: How much does it all cost? A: We believe we are the cheapest provider of this course.
A full course will cost +card+vat if held at our centre.
Courses held at a location of your choice are subject to travel costs.
